Easter Pictures

So Wednesday I tried to get Easter pictures of Austin.  Stupid shots gave him a fever, but we tried a little anyway.  Brooke did an amazing job with what she had to work with.  Here are a few.

Austin's Latest Dr. Appointment

Well, we had our 9 month check-up yesterday.  I can't believe that it's already been NINE months!  They fly by so fast.  At our appointment, we found out that Austin weighs in at 17 pounds 13 ounces and is 28 inches tall.  He also got his second flu shot which gave him a fever today :-(  Overall he is healthy and on track, albeit a little small, but he's always been that way.  He also got tested for anemia and passed with flying colors.

Despite the fever we tried to take some Easter pictures today.  We'll see how those turned out.  It will be a week or so before I get them so I'll keep you posted.

Mommy Went Shopping Today

So Mondays are supposed to be time for me to get things done around the house and do a little for myself.  Why then, do I always end up doing something for Austin?  Today I did the grocery shopping, met the pest control guy at the house and before it was time to get Austin, I went to Walmart to get some D batteries for his Busy Ball Popper that he got for Christmas.  I know, Christmas was 2.5 months ago, but the kid has plenty of toys.  Anyway, I got the batteries, they are installed, and he can play with it when he gets up from his nap.  But also while I was getting batteries, I perused the toy section and came home with a few new goodies for the boy.  He now has blocks, three new trucks, and a hammer. :)

Well, I continue to be amazed everyday by how quickly Austin is growing up. I love his sweet smile and crazy hair. While we have our moments, I am still enjoying every minute of being his mother. Here are a few of my recent favorite pictures.




Austin loves to visit his granny who lets him do pretty much whatever he wants. She even let him try on his first pair of cowboy boots.
