Afternoon Dip in the Pool

This has become a common occurrence in our house since temperatures here reach 90 degrees with 80% humidity.  During nap time, Mommy sneaks out to the yard and fill the pool with icy cold water.  Twenty minutes later, it's 80 degree water.  Hmmmm...  Good thing that's the perfect temperature for Boss Man!

Fingerpaint Fun

So I learned a valuable lesson this day.  I was shopping and needed Austin to behave a little while longer.  Now I know that I should use things like french fries or chocolate.  For some reason I had finger painting on the brain that day.  And, this is what happens when you make promises at Walmart.

Mommy got brave and broke out the fingers paint!  Austin wasn't too sure about actually using his fingers, so Mommy also had to break out the paintbrush.

I've found this new substance called MUD!  And I "yike" it!

I got a little too close to the mud and sat in it.  So much for that white shirt.  Good thing Mommy has SEVERAL stain fighters that save most of my close from the brink of destruction.

Easter!

Austin was old enough this year to really get into the Easter thing.  He was visited by the Easter bunny and then we went to church.

After church we went to our good friends, Kara and Ryan's house to have brunch and hunt Easter eggs with lots of kiddos!
