The first part of February

Well, here we are again, catching up on what's been going on around here.  Sam is working 7 days a week in Qatar which is making it a little difficult for him to catch up with Austin.  He's able to call from work, but that's usually between 9 and 10 at night so Austin is already in bed.  He loves to talk to Daddy on the computer and tickle him.  Sam is a good sport and plays along.  We visited Granny and PaPa at the beginning of the month for about 5 days.  One of those days we had no power so that was interesting.  Here are a few pictures from this month.

Snow day fun with Austin and Play-doh.  This last about 10 minutes.

The massive amount of snow that fell in one day!

Where did Gunner's legs go?

Austin brought this home from daycare for me on Valentine's Day.  I love his daycare!

We got out in some 60 degree weather to have some fun.  We met some friends at the park and played for 2 hours!

We love to slide!

Peek-a-boo, I see you!

I cut my hair for Locks for Love.  This was the second time that I donated.  This first time was right after I had Austin.  I had to go alot shorter this time to get it accomplished, but it was well worth it.

Other than these things, there's nothing else new going on.  Austin is presenting me with new challenges each day.  We had to childproof the door knobs this month because he's tall enough to reach them now and turn them.  He was not happy with me about this.  We are trying to soak up as many days above 60 degrees as possible.  Allergies are starting to affect me, but it's worth the chance to soak up some Vitamin D.  Austin loves the stroller both in and out of the house so that makes it easy for me to get out and walk for a bit.  We were out for an hour today, just walking the neighborhood.  Here's to hoping for a mild spring and summer (yeah right!).

Here's Austin's latest accomplishment

End of January

Well, January came and went before I knew it.  It doesn't seem possible that it could have gone that fast with all the days we were stuck in the house thanks to the snow and Arkansas's lack of preparedness.  Anyway, here are a few pictures and videos from the month.

Still LOVE to eat.  Trying to learn this whole fork thing.  He LOVES meatballs :)

Found Daddy's old hat.  He loves it!

My little cowpoke!  He has everything he needs.

All this dog wrangling has made him thirsty.  Time to stop at the saloon for a drink.

And here is how I know I'm putting a tired boy to bed every night.

Austin and Gunner playing.  Well, as close to playing as they get.
